This place is terrible they took the heavier weights out one week after I paid. All the bars are bent so bad !!! Their is always machines broken . I have asked time and time again for them to fix them. The locker room smells so bad all the time. They stop having the cleaning people come once a week!!! Its was a lot better when golds had it!! I will not renew for sure!!!!
I joined Max Fitness July of 2011. I was told that any time I could cancel my membership with $50. That was a lie! I am stuck in my contract until it ends... I tried to cancel my membership about one year ago. I work full time, I go to school, and I have a toddler. I do not have time to go to the gym every day, I wish I did, but I don't. I had a terrible time trying to cancel my membership. This place is a rip off unless you enjoy crowded machines and an inability to cancel!! They will keep charging you unless you Certify Mail them several times. Stay away!
