Absolutely wild system they have. Operators will tell you a stop doesn't exist, even if it's just because the sign has fallen down or been disappeared(where do the signs go?) You can see ALL the stops on their fixed routes list, you can see them ALL in their app(mystop) and even on Google maps.. but still many drivers just won't stop to pick you up at the bus stop. 🙄 and if they do stop, they get mad at you. Guys we gotta do better on the BHM express, you can't have an express bus service is consistently taking over 40 min for a bus to show up, that's not useful to anyone, this service as it is can't be used to get to work, because you have to be at work on time, and those are the only people that are going to use the bus. Right now as I type this i sat for 45min at an express stop waiting for a bus that took 2 extended stops while I watched it on the app, making the rest of the chain backed up, and guaranteeing the same delay f... read more

Sad! I lost my car, and tried the bus because I used to ride it in the 70s and 80s haven't been on one since then. Man was I in for a rude awakening! I was so shocked, that it has gone down so badly! Drivers were unprofessionals, customer service unprofessional, buses are dirty! Buses don't show up, hardly any routes going anywhere! Nothing like back in the day. I lived in Atlanta, but Birmingham has the worst Transit system! They need to shut it down and start over a fresh! There Mayor needs to do better by the transit syst... read more
