I’d been meaning to try Maury’s for a long time and finally made it. Everything tasted fresh and exactly what I expected from a good bagel shop. I had the Lox open and really enjoyed it. Coffee was good too. I always wish places served a bigger cup, but it did the job. One thing that really stood out was how fast everything was. Ordered, got my food, and was eating within minutes. The chocolate banana bread is my ultimate favorite banana bread of all time. It is moist and full of flavor. You will enjoy it. Next, I’m not a fan of blueberry and prefer strawberry but the worker said it’s pretty good so I gave it a try and I’m so glad I did. I got a plain bagel with blueberry smear and it was delicious. It didn’t taste like blueberry too much. I really liked it.
Simply the best bagels in LA. The prices are reasonable considering other bagel places and the cream cheese is perfect. Somehow LA places mess up cream cheese. Bagels are more similar to East Coast than a lot of other places. Love it!
