Mauro Café is an absolute gem. I flew to LA with 16 dancers from Jordan Mac Adult Dance Studio, @jordanmacdance in Troy Michigan, to take class at Playground, and while strolling after class, I stumbled upon this incredible Italian spot. My son and I stopped in for a late lunch to avoid the traffic from Beverly Hills to Los Angeles, and everything was perfect as always. I ordered my usual—grilled steak, potatoes, and grilled veggies—along with the grilled shrimp salad with lemon and olive oil. Every dish was cooked beautifully and full of flavor. The strawberry lemonade was amazing, too. My son didn’t order any food this time, but he had the sangria and said it was awesome. Highly recommend this place every time.
Overpriced, small portions, poor quality food. Bad service, manager/owner extremely rude and insulting! Never go to this horrible place!
