I arrived on-time for a 3:30 appt. After waiting for 45mins, I was told I cannot have an annual physical because I'm on my period as they can't do pap smear. (I had many annual physicals in the past, this is the first time I'm getting denied because I'm on my period). I asked if I can just have the annual physical w/o pap smear, which I can schedule at a different time, and this request was not honored. I was simply asked to rebook. We feel incredibly lucky to have had Dr. Khoo as our OB. She genuinely cares for her patients—not just physically, but emotionally as well. I love Maureen Khoo herself, but I wish I never saw her. I have to wait 1-2 hours just to see her every time. On the first appointment she walked into the office 45 minutes past my appointment time to start her rounds. I was the first patient and she has a room full of patients. I couldn’t imagine how long other pregnant women have to wait. Her office made me use Natera. I’m still dealing with billing issues. I wish I'd looked at Yelp earlier. I just tried to see this doctor. I was asked to join an electronic platform ahead of time but surprisingly was not asked to fill out any forms ahead of time. I was also not told to come early to fill out forms. I arrived at 1:27pm for a 1:30pm appointment. At that point I was handed multiple pages of forms to fill out.
