The first staff member we encountered at pick‑up was unfriendly. The overall service process had significant shortcomings and showed poor customer‑service awareness. Having rented Maui motorhomes multiple times in New Zealand, we noticed a stark difference in experience. The pick‑up experience at the Australian branch was disappointing. We had a very nice trip!
The return of the camper in Sydney was very friendly and straightforward. The process itself was uncomplicated, and the staff were helpful and pleasant. The return location is quite remote and not particularly convenient to reach, which makes getting there or continuing your journey afterwards somewhat difficult. However, the lady at the return station was very helpful and kindly organised a taxi for us, which made things much easier. One thing that could be improved is the handling of AdBlue and gas.
