I put off renovating our home for over a decade because I was intimidated by the enormity of the process. From the first meeting with Kathie at Maughan Design and Remodel, I knew I was in good hands. Kathie and her team were wonderful to work with! When we requested bids for our living room remodel, we were really hoping to get responses from all bidders that would involve more around DESIGN ideas and COLLABORATION rather than just someone bidding out the stuff we shared without any discussion. I'm lead to believe being a woman-owned business helped here, because the male bidders that showed up were a quick show-up-and-estimate process, and even came off as a bit "mainsplainey" toward my wife (when she's the one calling ... read more
