Yummy Verde – The first time I went to Maudie's Too I ordered the vegetarian (cheese) enchiladas with the verde sauce and it's so good I've never ordered anything else since. The staples -- chips, salsa, rice & refried beans -- are all excellent and true-to-form Tex Mex. None of that white rice and black beans business. South Lamar Staple – I remember when Maudie's Too opened and I first tasted a rita there. I loved it and now regard this restaurant as a top-notch Tex-Mex spot. When the weather is nice, sit outside in the covered patio. I like the Mole Enchiladas the best, while the fajitas are good too. Also, they have a really cool front door--carved wood. I don't know, I think it's cool.
