Very disappointed. Under cooked food and have to get my own drink. It is a steakhouse, they should serve the guest. This is not mcds. This is not western style food.

I'm very disappointed to see this review, Jonathan. It is true that we take steak seriously and want to offer the best selection of cuts. For that reason, we call ourselves a steak house. However, our restaurant is cafeteria style. The silver lining to that is that there are no reservations, no wait, and a laid-back, comfortable feel. The best steak ever! My favorite spot! I recommend this place to anyone and the prices not bad either

Good just getting really expensive you can go to some top notch restaurant for these prices
I was soo disappointed because they didn't have medium rare steak but they had medium well steaks. How does that work? Aren't all steaks rare before they cook them? Are all steaks pre-cooked? I love Matteson's but like I said I was very disappointed on my last visit :(
Great food and great bartenders you can order anything and be satisfied
Try it you will love it to. Service is good and food is better they really aim to please.
