He denied me birth control for no medical reason other than being of child bearing age. When I explained I didn’t want children ever he said he would no longer be my doctor and asked me not to come back. It was the worst doctors appointment I’ve ever had. Do not go see this man he doesn’t care about women’s health care he only cares about zygotes and your willingness to have them in your uterus.
Recently had an appointment with Dr. Tompkins because my regular doctor was unavailable. It was one of the best Gyno appointments I’ve ever had. He listened to what I had to say and throughly explained things to me. My regular doctor approaches visits very differently than Dr Tompkins and it typically takes me at least a week to recover from the exam. Dr. Tompkins is an outstanding Dr. He is very polite, while doing the exam, he tells you what is going on. I live in Charlottesville and I drive down to Lynchburg for my yearly exam. I cannot say enough good things about him.Been going down there there for a long time.
Dr. Tompkins is the best. I have been going to Dr. Tompkins for about 14 years now and I would not change for anything. I work out of state now and will definitely be going back for my yearly exams. He has the best bedside manner and I feel that I can talk to him about anything and everything. I trust him and his staff to provide me with top notch quality care.
