Had to get screws in my shin for the first surgery. I told him at my appointment that I was cutting up lidocaine patches and could no longer get the swelling to go down. 3 days later I was in septic shock and my organs were failing. My husband had a catastrophic injury of a severely broken clavicle. Dr. Starke was who he was referred to due to his expertise. We are so grateful that he was his surgeon. He did a superb job and was very good about explaining what he has to do and how. Nothing but praise. I would recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Starke is funny, kind and a great surgeon. I myself am a surgeon who suffered a complicated fracture of my arm that I worried would limit my career. Dr. Starke and his team performed multiple excellent surgeries for me, and communicated well with me, my family, and my therapist. My arm/wrist/hand are back operating well. I'm forever thankful for Dr. Starke's skill! Trust the process, work hard at rehab everyday like it's your job, and know that you're in good hands with Dr. Starke.

When I was freaking out about my injury I told Dr. Starke about my anxiety. He did a great job keeping things simple when it involved talking about the surgery and going into detail when I asked about certain topics or any questions.
