Shari and Matthew are the best! I drive an hr to go here- They have flexible hours, always do a great job, carry products that work great, and they're just beautiful people inside and out. I look forward to my appointments and always leave happy :)

I love it here! Every six weeks it's like a little vacation and I come back with my hair looking fabulous and my soul refreshed and rejuvenated! Anyone looking for a new look or a freshening of their old look should pop in or call today. Shari is amazing and is always willing to change up my style to match my crazy whims. She is my go to hair stylist and therapist.
I have been a regular client and received excellent service over the years. The Aveda hair color is the best and never fades. I always receive compliments on my hairstyle. I find that Matthew and his team are always up on the latest techniques and styles. If you have not come to matthew phillips make an appt and give yourself a treat!
When I first moved to West Hartford almost four years ago, I asked a friend whose haircut I admired who her stylist was. She directed me to Shari, and I have been a fan ever since! Shari's expertise with color is extraordinary, matched only by her ability to give a great haircut. She gives wonderful advice about products, maintenance, etc. My appointments are like a little vacation!
I have been going to Shari for years and will continue to do so. She listens to my requests and appropriately makes suggestions if she thinks a better style would suite me. She keeps my style edgy (what I like) and hip, while still classy. I'm a blonde and her color is "on point". I always feel like a natural blonde, not overly processed and bleached. In fact, many times, I have overly botched and processed my hair and Shari helps restore it back to health!
I've been coming here for more than 25 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Love Matthew and his team of expert stylists!!!
