My husband and I chose Dr. Kessler (and Nuvance) after our long time internist, Dr. Herrera, retired. Dr. Kessler has proven to be someone who listens well, does not rush you in and out, is a good diagnostician, is not afraid to order tests if needed, and makes referrals if he thinks you need a specialist. His office staff is organized and responsive and his nurse, Maureen, is very attentive. I had my first initial appointment with Dr. Kessler yesterday and overall, I am satisfied with the care I received. The office staff was quick in preparing paperwork and completing my registration, the nurse (Maureen) was lovely, and my appointment ran on time. Overall, I found Dr. Kessler to be a great listener. He was patient, kind, engaging, and had a nice desposition. Admittedly, I was hoping to get more advice from him regarding some ongoing issues. I've used Dr. Kessler now for 5 years and have always found him to be thorough, attentive and knowledgeable. He follows my health issues with great attention over time and gives great advice. His staff is excellent, he is easy to contact (especially through the Nuvance app), and he follows up quickly on any queries I may have throughout the year between checkups.
