I have used Dr Levine in the past for a total shoulder replacement that went very well. Now having knee problems and this visit was as great as past visits with him. He is very understanding and explains everything in detail in a way you can understand. I would recommend him to anyone needing a doctor like him in his specialty. He is a great doctor and I give him TWO thumbs up!

Very honest feedback. Did not try to push surgery as other doctors did. Explained physical therapy was the best option as surgery would not help my shoulder condition.

I was referred to the office in Urbana. I was seen by a P.A., spent a total of 3 minutes with me. She said I had arthristis in my thumb. Osteoarthritis I asked, not RA? she said no, definitely not. The only thing she said we could do is recommend advil, and a splint.I did take it, and had no relief. It got worse, started feeling clicking and grinding in other joints of my hands, hips, ankles and wrist. researched on the web, found out I have gout, with diet changes I am seeing improvement. ;

I was referred to him by another physician at his practice who could not fix my knee. Then he performed two surgeries, one a scope since he claimed the MRI was not enough for him, then ACL reconstruction that within 6 weeks failed. I returned to him for explanation and he did not have clear answers. Luckily an amazing Orthopedic, Ahmed Bzikria, at John Hopkins was able to come up with a surgical solution for my knee. If your issue is serious, please do your best to get seen by someone at JH.
