Dr. Hummel was instrumental in diagnosing my lung adenocarcinoma. During my 2017 MDVIP wellness exam, he recommended a CT scan to "take another look" at lung nodules he'd monitored between 2005 and 2008. One nodule had increased in size prompting a PET scan, and a biopsy, followed by surgery to remove my upper right lobe. Post-surgery pathology indicated the cancer had not spread so further treatment was unnecessary. Dr. Hummel's attentiveness to my medical history has added years to my life.
Dr. Hummel is an excellent physician. He is warm, caring and very professional. Last year was a hard year for me and I believe Dr. Hummel played a major role in getting me through it in a healthy way. His office is well run and his staff are also very professional and kind. I recommend him highly.
My daughter and I have been patients @ Dr Hummel's practice for 7 years. Listed as my PCP on my insurance card, never met him. However, I think I've seen most of his other providers in his practice. None impress. Except PAs Sal and Russel. Dr Summer actually looked at his watch and told me "you have 15 minutes," then never touched me. Hmmm... I've had to chase test results, paperwork, prescriptions, many unanswered calls, the phone system is a freaking joke. Useless practice. AVOID!!!
Dr. Hummel and his staff are caring and professional. We have been his patients for over 14 years and have always been extremely satisfied.
Dr. Hummel is been my doctor for years and he is the best doctor i ever had, he listens and answers all the questions I have. I trust his decisions and his diagnosis 100%, he also never rushes the office visit and always takes his time with me.
Great Doctor. Been his patient for a long time. He has referred me to other great doctors when I have needed surgeries. Go!! SPARTANS!!!!
