The first appointment was good. He seemed great very intelligent. Seemed to care told me that he wanted to create a plan. Our next appointment made me feel kind of iffy. His plan was everything that I had already been doing, but just adding pain management. And now today, I'm calling for a sick appointment because my hematologist is telling me to see my PCP and they're telling me they can't see me for a sick appointment till March 16. Best doctor I have ever had!! Actually listens and takes action quickly. Appreciate his kind, hardworking staff as well.
Do not bother going to dr dowdy if you have Tricare. He dumped us because we have Tricare about 1.5 yrs ago. Now we still get harassing phone calls from these medical companies associated with dr dowdy even though he dumped us. They just won't stop calling us and he won't do anything to stop them.
I do not trust doctors! They are worse than lawyers! But... I trust Dr Dowdy. He is willing to do research on conditions or medicine. He listens to the patients and agrees that the patient knows their body best. He has a wonderful bedside manner. I can tell him anything and do not feel judged. He is easy to schedule and quick to reply to medication refills or questions. He is out of network for my insurance but I pay for the visit myself because he is worth the money. I cant imagine any other doctor I would rather work with.
