Dr. Dow has been amazing with our niece! She was mauled by 2 pit bulls, 5 yrs ago. He did surgery on her leg, an she is walking and running an doing all the things! We see him once a year and he has been nothing but amazing! Thank you Dr. Dow!
I want to preface this by saying that, I’m happy that my son felt comfortable seeing the doctor period comma. But when the doctor came in along with 3 resident doctors, I asked him if we could just see him alone, to which he responded “they’re helping me”. I don’t think, your students should trump what your patient’s guardian is expressing to you. If your patient says this makes me uncomfortable, just yield. I wish I could give Dr. Dow a negative O! My child and I waited in the exam room for over 30 minutes. I went to the nurse station to ask when will the doctor be in to see my child, I was told by his nurse he will be in shortly, and a man at the desk stating we didn’t forget abut you all (me not knowing he was Dr. Dow). After returning to the exam room, Dr. Dow came in and asked how long my child had the injury. After telling when the injury occurred he asked me why did I bring my child there. We would give negative or zero stars if google allowed. Beware of Matt A. Dow. He xray-ed below my infant child's waist claiming he suspects something wrong with hips and legs when nothing was wrong with them costing extra needless expenses and wasting time and money exposing my baby to extra harmful xrays when all we came in for was her bent wrist! Matt A. Dow might be a good doctor for those with "american" last names but he was personally very racist towards me. He makes you wait over an hour in the lobby then he makes you wait in the examination room for another hour while he chatted and laughed in the break room without seeing to any patients and it's not lunch break at all. He only sauntered in 2 hours past my child's appointment time with no apology and called me genetically inferior to bear healthy normal children in the womb.
