I had an appointment and Dr. Devane was very condescending when he spoke with me and very disinterested . The worst part of Matthew Devane's office is his staff. The technician who conducted the EKG was very rude, unprofessional and did to take all the wire leads out. To make matters worse she never called me to schedule my echocardiogram and when I called they hung up on me.
So glad Dr. DeVane joined John Muir. His new location is impressive, staff is efficient, and, as in the past, Dr. DeVane is compassionate and concerned and has been readily available when we needed to see him. He takes the time to answer all questions and is the last one out of the exam room, meaning he has never left the room before he knows we're all set. So unlike many other doctors we know. We appreciate him and recommend him highly.
Dr. DeVane, who I just saw for a first visit was the epitome of a straight shooter. He’s not warm and cuddly but he is genuine and speaks the truth about his assessment and recommendations. I found him to be very thorough. No way in which she spoke with me about my health really help to wake me up to some changes I need to make so that I don’t develop heart disease. Thank you Dr. Duvane for your help. The exam room it’s self was set up poorly in terms of where the computer and MD are.
Dr Devine a few years ago was a very compassionate doctor. But now it seem he is disinterested when you go in to see him..He seems distracted and uninterested in my Husbands care. We will look for another doctor
