I have visited several different ophthalmologists and found Dr Deich the be perfect balance. Intelligent and quite courteous. He treated my stye with antibiotics and a steroid injection, which healed it quickly. I have no complaints.
1. I was dilated without any previous explanation, nor my consent. I ended up having to drive a motorcycle with very limited vision. 2. my husband was given a prescription for contact and one for glasses. Filled the glasses at the doctor office. Filled the glasses one at Costco and had very severe discomfort. The two prescriptions were very very different. When he called to ask to see the doctor to fix the prescription he was told not for a couple of months. Went to a different doctor who checked the glasses made at Costco, ... read more
Extremely happy with the results of my cataract surgery by Dr. Deich. He is polite and competent. I have no complaints. Best Doc around as far as I'm concerned.

Dr. Reeves ignores the side effects of medication that I shared with him. I told him that it was causing problems for me. He stated, I don't have any indication that you should have that side effect. He told me to stop for a week then start again. I read the surrounding data for medication, and the side effect that I was experiencing was clearly defined. He suggested I see a cardiologist because it is not the medication. So he gave me more of the same medication. I have taken steps to see another ophthalmologist.
Deich is not friendly, doesn’t acknowledge your in room, very dry personality, he acts like he doesn’t want to talk to you. Do not recommend. I do not trust him, I think he is rude.
Dr. Miller botched my eye lid surgery. I barely have a lid on left eye and when I went back, she said I must have rubbed the stitches out during my sleep as most of the stitches just didn't catch or pulled out shortly after surgery. She was brisk, got up and left me sitting. She refused to see me on my second visit. If the stitches had held in my left eyelid, I wouldn't be able to close the lid. Office staff defined “obstruction”. They made ever effort to make a new relationship difficult. With so many great options here in Savannah, just send your business elsewhere!
