During a routine colonoscopy Dr. Maryam Kashi found a 5cm. cancerous mass in my colon. She immediately sent a biopsy to the lab, ordered CT scans of my abdomen, pelvis, and chest, and referred me to Dr. Matthew Albert, a colorectal surgeon in the same facility. During tests on my wife, Dr Naveed detected a blockage that was not normal and forwarded those images immediately to Dr. Albert – even though he was out of the country. Within minutes, Dr. Albert texted to directly stating that this was something he could fix when he returned to the U.S. Shortly afterward, my wife had surgery where Matt removed at least 6 feet of dead colon from my wife. Went to Dr. Albert for a hemorrhoidectomy and was terrified. It was a mostly pain and discomfort free experience. Would highly recommend!
Dr Albert is very smart… but most important he cares!!!! He takes time to listen and he sits down and talks with you about a plan of attack and follows through! So grateful to have met him :)

Due to my illness of 13 years, Dr. Albert was up for the challahs of my case of a colectomy. To say the process was easy is a complete understatement. However, Dr. Albert really listen to my concerns. He would tell me his solutions and we would come up with a plan together through all the trials and tribulations.
