Dr. Tao was amazing. He listened to what was wrong and his goal was to make the pain to subside and not need a knee replacement for a very very long time. Dr. Tao was my second opinion visit. After meeting with him and hearing the positive things from our initial surgeon I met with, I had a feeling on which surgeon I felt most comfortable with. With no hesitation I had to go with Tao. Dr. Tao was our second opinion visit. After meeting with him and hearing the positive things from our initial surgeon we met with, I let my daughter (17yo) go with her gut feeling on which surgeon she felt most comfortable with. With no hesitation she picked Tao. She felt very informed, included in the plan of care, etc. This is our first big surgery & with Dr. Tao being in sports medicine as well as very familiar with ACL, it felt right. Dr. Tao and his team are exceptional. My heel surgery was by far the best surgery experience I have ever had. From my first appointment with Dr. Tao, to follow up appointments, he and his team clearly care about my wellbeing and my continued recovery. He is very knowledgeable and explains everything about the process/progression and recovery. If I could give him a higher score, I would.
