OK I am 3 weeks and 2 days out from surgery and I have to give a BIG THANK YOU to you Dr Metz. I started this journey the end of Dec. All the nutrition classes before surgery was great. I learned so much about how food controls our lives. Last June I tried to go for a bike ride and one block out with oxygen on I thought I was going to die. Well I camped the past 2 weekends up high in altitude walked around and needed no oxygen. Know this week my daughter has been coming over ever mornings before
Dr Metz and staff are friendly every time I have a appointment they are fast don't. Have to wait very long and easy to find the office always get the answers I ask dr Metz and the staff members have the paperwork ready as I walk out and ready to get my next appointment set up ahead of time will recommend friends and family to dr Metz
I liked him at first, however, when I developed complications there was no support. The office staff was no supportive be and one down right rude. The nutritionist did nothing to offer me support and I paid her over five hundred dollars for no advice after my complications. She simply said to me; "I wish there were something I could do to help you." She asked me to contact her after I had seen my pcp, I emailed her with my updated condition, she offered no consult for diet.
Dr. Metz is very friendly and honestly cares about his patients! Although I do not quailfy for gastric surgery, I appreciate his honesty. He explained to me why due to other medical reasons I was unable to have the surgery rather than just doing it. And for that I am grateful.
Dr Metz is an excellent dr. He saved my life. Every visit and appointment is very pleasurable and I never leave his office with any questions. He is very thorough and very professional. His office is the cleanest I've ever been in. He is an amazing surgeon. I knew everything that was to be expected before i even went in for surgery. I recommend him to everyone I know.
I was pretty nervous when I decided to see Dr. Metz for my procedure. When I arrived at my first appointment, his staff made me feel welcomed. They ALWAYS answered all of my questions. Dr. Metz is an amazing guy. He is very involved in his care with you. He made me feel comfortable in the decision to have this procedure. I would definitely give well above a 10+ rating to him and his staff. They helped me get my life back.

Dr. Metz performed bariatric surgery on me. It couldn't have been a better experience. He listened to all of my questions and concerns and gave clear, helpful non-judgemental responses. I felt that he was concerned about.me as a person, not just a patient.. In speaking with other patients when attending the support groups he had, virtually everyone had similar high regard for him and his services.He's terrrific.
