I was referred to Dr. Johanson by my regular dentist for a gum graft. Hearing from others about the pain they experienced when having similar surgeries, I expected the same. I do not recommend this Dr because he damaged my nerve in my jaw when I went to him. The nerve pain is horrible, even after a year has passed. He should have been more careful when preparing my gum for an implant!

I needed a dental implant on one of my top front teeth, #10 I think was. Anyway, my primary dentist realized that I had very thin bone in that area and referred me to Dr Johanson due to his expertise with dental implants. Dr. Johanson needed to pull the bad tooth, clean the bone area thoroughly and then place in a bone material to fill the in the hole. The process when perfectly with no pain or swelling. After several months pasts to let the bone heal he placed the implant with no issues.
