Terrible company to deal with. 3 year tenants at a property. Attempted to charge us for doors that needed to be replaced PRIOR to our tenancy (which never were). The doors were more damaged after our 3 years due to the water damage suffered before us. Continuous email correspondance about getting the doors changed during our tenancy and when we decided to move out they attempted to charge us for the repairs that were meant to happen prior to us moving in. I reported a blocked drain and overgrown trees via email to Matte Black Real Estate earlier this month. I was then asked to provide photos, which I did that same afternoon. The property manager acknowledged receipt and said she would contact the owner. My expectation was that a plumber would be organised in due course—I was not pushy, nor did I demand immediate action. We have rented through Matte Black Real Estate for nearly two years now, and they have been soo attentive and quick to respond to any problems or items we needed fixed in the home. Everyone we have dealt with in the Property Management team have been soo lovely and understanding as well. They are extremely professional with fantastic customer service.
