I first visited Dr. Matsueda for a second opinion. I had two big and not esthetically pleasing upper front teeth crowns and uneven gum lines. My regular dentist recommended that I should go through gum surgery to even out my gum line, then have two upper front crowns and two veneers (two at least, but six veneers were recommended). I have known Dr. Matsueda for over 15 years and had my first dental treatment about that time as well. I had a tooth cleaning and a filling in between my front teeth. Since that time, I have only needed cleanings which were most execellent. I would highly recommend Dr. Matsueda for all your dental needs.
My wife and I both went in to see Dr. Matsueda to see if this was a Dr. that we can trust. He was much the salesman, as all he could talk about is how expensive treatment and cost of materials would be. As for the atmosphere he works out of an old converted house with rusty tools and old antique dentist chair and mold on the ceiling. Dr. Matsueda has been my families dentist for over 15 years. For as long as i can remember, he has been in charge of my teeth long with my sister, brother and mom and dad. Over the years, we have become good friends as can be expected. He is a true believer in education and has always shown an interest in our studies. I would recommend his practice to any and all families looking for a trustworthy dentist. Jason Kihara
Dr. Richard Matsueda I used to go to Dr. Matsueda several years ago before I had a change of insurance due to my employer. He is a very nice dentist and very much a professional and an expert in his field. I did not much like one of the staff there though. She was not very helpful with an insurance problem I had.
