Employee Rob and my former roommate (old acquaintance) schemed me out of my $400 security deposit when I had to move out due to financial hardship resulting from an injury. They had also schemed to ghost me on move in day, not responding to any of my messages so that my roommate could get in first. I had to move in the following day in the rain, which compromised the condition of my $800 mattress. If you are LGBT or of color, be careful with this company.
Management at Matrix Management is very friendly and accommodating. The entire time I've lived here I've been able to create a great relationship with the landlord and he, and his team, are helpful in all situations. If we would need help at our place, they would send someone out the same day, if not the next day to fix the problem. Communication was easy and responses were quick. Excellent service and experience all around.
A month after I moved into my apartment, I was informed by other tenants that there were major BED BUG problems in some of the nearby units... Then after a couple more weeks, I found out that matrix management sold the building to another management company!!! The new mgmt company told me that they wouldn't be renewing my lease, they'd be doing loud renovations and that I should move out as soon as possible.
