My son attended full-time, one-on-one sessions at Mathnasium Hancock Park, about 3–4 times per week. After several months, I realized that several tutors were not adequately trained and did not help my son improve his math skills. The branch managers, Andrew and Mari Kyrylenko, did not demonstrate effective leadership. My daughter experienced several years of delays in mathematics and developed a strong fear of math class. During her first assessment, she was so anxious that she cried. However, after one month of tutoring and attending Mathnasium, I am very happy to see that she now enjoys going every day. We are looking forward to seeing improvements in her grades starting next semester.
We love everything about this Mathnasium. From the confidence that our child now has in her ability to tackle challenging problems to the people that work there. Our daughter looks forward to going nearly every day after school and the improvement we've seen in her grades is incredible. We definitely recommend this location. Everyone truly cares about the kids. They are friendly, passionate, and helpful in so many ways. Best decision we've made, I only wish we would've done it sooner!
My 3rd grader was struggling and even failed his first term in math. I decided to enroll him at Mathnasium, and it was the best decision ever! Peter and the whole team worked closely with me, guiding and supporting my son every step of the way. Just a week before his chapter exam, he passed with only one mistake! His confidence and love for math have grown so much. Huge thanks to Peter and Mathnasium for making such an amazing difference!
