I worked with Chris Taillard at Mathews to reupholster an antique sofa and the dining room chairs that I'd bought at Mathews 20 years ago. First, the dining room chairs are such high quality that they've stayed lovely for 20 years, they just needed a little renewal. The sofa needed serious work as it is a family antique. Matthews Furniture boasts one of the most elegant showrooms in the South, making it a must-see even if you're not a furniture enthusiast.
