My daughter delivered at Northside Hospital (Women’s Center in Sandy Springs) and her labor and delivery nurse, Ms. Alonis, was absolutely amazing. She has truly excellent bedside manner—calm, respectful, and attentive—and she consistently takes the time to listen and answer questions thoroughly without ever making you feel rushed. Was trying to do a transfer from Wellstar because of insurance changes. After having them confirm that they received the records I waited 3 weeks just for them to tell me that they did not have them and I would have to get them resent! I will not be resending or coming here at all! I wasted so much time, and they have stressed me out so much, this is my first pregnancy, and it has been a horrible experience with prenatal. If you need to transfer look for another OB.
Extremely slow and prolonged waiting times. It was my wife and I and maybe 2 other people in the waiting room and it still took us over an hour and 30 minutes to get seen by the doctor. Not ideal when you are being charged parking for at a rate of every 30 mins…
I was transferring from wellstar to Northside and waited 3 weeks for them to get my records and tell me they cannot accept me as a new patient because the amount of patients they have the week of my due date. I have never heard of an office turning someone away for those reasons. Mariyah was very careless and non chalant and I feel they rejected me because I had to keep calling to see why it was taking so long.
