Exceptional care. Dr elkousy and Dr Jessie are phenomenal. Along with Nicole and Shannon who have taken the time to listen to my concerns and help me feel at ease during every scan. I could not recommend this team enough.
I was referred to MFAMA by my OBGYN for pregnancy complications and began seeing them twice a week starting at week 25. I was very disappointed when complications arose and they refused to check them out. According to Dr. Jessie, they only follow up on the baby’s health, not the mother’s. Dr. Elkousky is terrific. Otherwise, this practice treats patients like a burden. Expect significant pushback for asking to review your results with the doctor. I had questions for the doctor today. Dr. Hassan told the sonographer to tell me to ask my OB about my results since they were normal and she was busy with other patients. (This happened right before lunch.)
If you are looking for compassionate and empathetic care do not see Dr. Elkousy. On the most traumatic day of my life when I was told I needed to have an emergency c—section at 32 weeks, I was appalled by his horrible beside manner. After many anxiety inducing appointments with Dr. Razavi (who was great), I saw Dr. Elkousy for the first time the morning I had my son.
