Matel Realty are CROOKS – The brokers posted an ad on craigslist advertising they were the owner. I paid the broker a fee and Matel a fee to live in their scummy apartment. They blackmailed me to live in their own place. I've reported them to the housing authority and the police. These are the type of landlords and brokers you HAVE to stay away from!!! Matel Realty are crooks!
Never rent from matel realty – probably the worst landlord in NYC. They dont give you back your security deposit, they try to get you out of your apartment so they can rent the place for more money. They're not privy to other races and never make the building nice. Just keep telling you what you wanna hear. Terrible, don't use them if you can help it! – Matel Realty in New York is terrible! Avoid renting an apartment from them! Unhelpful, incompetent, apathetic - we have had numerous maintenance and safety issues and they were impossible to get a hold of for help, sluggish in acting, and had constant attitude. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM
