This is a very competent urologist. Not a perfect rating as his office sometimes does fall short in terms of communication and scheduling, but I get the feeling this is more of an organizational Health First issue, as their telephone answering system and centralized scheduling sucks, across multiple practices I've dealt with. I have seen Dr Andreiou over the years and have had 3 kidney stone surgeries with him which all went well. I used to have a lot of kidney stones but I'm currently stone free, which I'm very happy about. We've made a few diet and medicine changes which really seem to be helping. Will admit his office sometimes can have issues with communication, but they are very busy. But he is no doubt a good doctor and has taken good care of me.
As always, professional and caring. Goes over test results. He took time and explained things in a manner that could be understood. Answered all questions. Very personable.
Appointments sometimes involve a bit of waiting (although this seems to be improving based on my most recent visit), but I stay with him because I trust him. I've seen a few urologists and sometimes felt like I was just a cash cow to squeeze as many tests out of as they could. That's not what happens here. Went to Dr Andreoiu and between he and Jean Sheppard they saved my life. I was going to another "dr" for prostrate problems that watched my psa go up for several years. He just kept saying "we have to keep an eye on it" and did nothing. Dr Andreoiu and PA Sheppard got right on it and recommended a biopsy and found cancer. I went through radiation treatment at the wonderful Health First Facility in Verria. Dr Pendergrass and staff were fantastic. I am so grateful for the Health First Team.
