Stopped by Matcha Maiko in Mira Mesa after hearing good things about the place. My first time here I got myself the Strawberry Matcha, it was overwhelmingly sweet, I politely asked if I could get my drink remade and the 2 guys working the register said "No, the drink is already made" in a very condescending tone as if I did something wrong. I do not recommend going here as the staff is very unfriendly making the atmosphere very uncomfortable. The drinks are OK. Quality has very noticeably decreased. They must have decreased the matcha quality
They have a huge menu with so many fun options to try! I got the banana pudding matcha latte and really enjoyed it. I have a sweet tooth, and 50% sweetness was the perfect balance for me. Definitely a spot I’d come back to to explore more of their menu.
Came in after they were closed but still let me try the original matcha latte. 10/10 service 10/10 atmosphere playing Good music and 10/10 drink. Honestly was what I was looking for in a matcha latte, creamy and milky still with a strong matcha flavor.
