30 something years ago, I would stand my big-bellied pregnant self in line for over an hour on Friday night just to get one of their grinders (sandwiches for those who don't know). They are soo good & I craved them. Now, every time I come home to Alabama I have to make it to Mata's at least once. Not just for the awesome pizza, but the salad is amazing! A tradition for me, a place you shouldn't miss.
