Nothing crust wasn’t good
RecommendedI am here for an extended deployment for work and wanted pizza and this place was highly reviewed so I thought I’d check it out. Yeah, it’s an old fast food place that they are using and the signage is a little co fusing but the pizza actually lived up to the hype. I had the Matas favorite (which is mostly veggies and feta) and I added sausage to it and it was fantastic. A small was two meals and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a while. The pizza was Delicious salad was too but Greek salad dressing was to salty for me other than that everything was on point

I’ve been going to Mata’s since I was in grade school. If I could, I would have their pizza morning, noon, and night (which I have done before when I was going to JSU).

We arrived in Anniston later in the evening and relaxed at Hotel Finial for a while and were thrilled Mata's was not only in walking distance but had it's own gate from the hotel! It was also open until 10! I ordered the salad and spaghetti and my husband ordered the all meat pizza! We got it to go and ate poolside at the hotel and it was delicious!!!
