Mata's is a landmark and icon of Anniston.. It has been locally owned and operated by the same family for years, and nothing has changed.. The food is still traditional and by far, the most delicious pizza in the area. Mata's is a place where every local knows they can get a fantastic meal.
Mata's is quite a find for foodies. The fresh homemade dough and bread are gems among a fetching feast of delicious temptations that will keep one coming back again and again. Good advice ...... call ahead at main food tomes and holidays..... busy take- out and usually full in dining room at peak times. Worth the wait and maybe worth relaxing and just savoring the ambiance of a great local spot that can make you think you have found THE treasure of pizzarias in America. Really, it's that good.
