Our food is made fresh daily with some of our specialties including our deep-fried flour tacos; a botana made with fresh cut chips, house-made guacamole,lard-free pinto beans and 2% part-skim mozzarella cheese. You'll also want to try our fried ice cream which we prepare in-house and wash it down with our unique and flavorful margaritas.

Great Food.... – I bought the 2008 entertainment book.....I love buy one get one free or 50% off......in the book was a coupon for the matador so I took my husband for his b-day. The food was great, and my husband is hard to please. The enchiladas were some of the best I've had. They also gave us a complimentary fried ice cream that was awesome....I am giong back even without a coupon so it has to be good!!!!
Food was cold. – Everything we got was cold. The cheese was not melted. They don't have hot peppers. When you ask for them they look at you like your nuts. Will not go back again.

Real Mexican food – Family owned and operated. We have been going for over 25 years. Great value. Great food. Favorite Mexican food of all the good Mexican restraunts around.
EXCELLENT!!! – We enjoy going to the Matador. All the food is great but we especially LOVE the Taco's! They are as authentic as you can get.
Don't look for Tex-Mex, Taco Bell or Heaven forbid ChiChi's-they serve dishes that don't exist in any culture! Look for REAL Mexican food. Not hot-unless you're the type to eat a pure jalapeno with your meals! Not "Spicey!!". It's just plain, good homecooked Mexican food. After living in Texas and California-we did afterall get them from Mexico-I looked forward to going to Mi Casa in Southgate. Nasty, Nasty, Nasty – Matador is absolutely the WORST immitation mexican food i have ever had. I ordered tacos. Simple huh? I got some nasty shredded dried beef that resembled beef jerky in a tortilla with Parmasean Cheese! Not regular Cheese, but cheese used in Italian restaurants..it was horribly disgusting. Save yourself, Taco bell is more authentic!
