this place makes my favorite breakfast burrito in all of SD!! also the birria quesadilla is bomb
A sub-$14 burrito in San Diego?! The Fajita Burrito was huge, delicious, with an awesome soft fresh flour tortilla, and awesome salsas (green + orange is where it’s at). No idea why this spot doesn’t have a higher rating. Highly recommend!
By far the greatest Mexican restaurant in the city of San Diego! Affordable and excellent food with 11/10 service. 2026 edit: it’s been over two years since I’ve left my original Matador Mexican Grill review, and I wanted to say that I still feel that this place is amazing. I’m happy to report they now are on DoorDash too!
