I only get to Mall of America maybe once a year, but when I do, I make a beeline for Masu. As a gluten-free eater, I stick to the sashimi, robata, and the tofudon rice bowl. My server on the last visit, after asking him for tamari to go with my sashimi, was sure to ask me if I would be eating gluten-free today. Great initiative and attention to detail. Were waiting for couple sushi ralls about hour....SLOW!
Great Sushi and great service. We enjoyed our meal at Masu Sushi and Robata Wednesday evening. Will definitely be making a return visit!
The food is good if you wait long enough for it but i for one would never go back... Service sucks..... You tell me who brings you the check and try to clear your plate when you're not even done eating and then you have to tell them you didnt even get the rest of your food, and why are they bringing you the bill already, reply... Oh you didnt get your food and walks away and not come back until ten minutes later just to tell me that because my sashimi is the not the regular kind of sushi it well take long... to receive.....?... read more
Might be good. They couldn't figure out how to seat a couple on Wednesday night. Indifference from the staff that would rather bus tables than seat waiting diners at open tables.
I've been all over America and Canada and I've eaten many different foods at many different places. This hands down is the best sushi and service I've had in mid America. I will be returning here next time I am in town.
