After 20 years of not needing any major repairs, I have started brining my 1999 Toyota 4Runner SR5 to Mastertech Automotive. They have been doing excellent work at a fair cost on this old beast of a machine. Super glad a friend recommended them.
I used them for Merc injectors and they did an outstanding job. They gave me flow test before and after, and replaced orings and grommets for few bucks. I will be using them for my customers boats to save them money .
I took my car in here to master tech automotive. Because I was expecting professional experience and also I know one of the ronnebecks in my personal life good friend. Has been for some time. I agree with the person who had a bad experience. I was treated rudely by the owner from the beginning and he was impatient and barely gave me the time of day and hung up on me on the phone quickly when I tried to ask him a question about my car. I have dealt with many many auto shops through the years due to my excessive travel and mileage on my vehicles and this shop most definitely does NOT get my approval .
I went into this shop on a whim asking for a quote on an oil leak. I was told they cant give an accurate quote without knowing where the leak was. They put an ultraviolet dye in my engine & had me drive it around for a few days. When I went back I was told that the leak was in a different area than a different shop had previously told me. The other shop quoted me over $800, this repair cost me less than $200. To say the least, they are my shop of choice from now on.
Dennis was very helpful and offered me a couple of options for my repair, I realized they were a family working there which was nice to see and glad they were not part of a chain store. Great service and very friendly to me and my kids
To Paul W., in case you didn't realize it, they have an african american person working at thier shop, so no they don't judge people based on race. And I have been going there for years, I have bought cars from Dennis before and he is the most honest reliable mechanic/car salesman I have ever met. Whenever I am looking for a new car I have always called them to see what they have for sale or to look at a car I'm thinking of buying. They are the best of the best!
Excellent customer service. I have been coming here for years and I wouldn't trust my car anywhere else. All the techs are very friendly and curteous. I love how Dennis will always take the time to chat with me for a few minutes any time I am in. They get my car fixed on time and below thier estimate every time. They have always taken excellent care of me and my whole family. You rock Mastertech!
