If I could leave a negative star I would! I hate to leave a negative review, but this company does not respond to their clients! I had my taxes prepared in February and they needed additional documents. I emailed them the following day and no response. I left a voicemail and emailed, still no response. I’ve had my taxes prepared a few times by Master Tax. This year they did not pay our taxes owed as instructed with our credit card. Instead they used a previous year’s debit card number they must’ve had on file. When the taxes were charged at the beginning of the month to my debit card it drained my account and caused my rent payment to bounce and I incurred fees and my credit score took a hit. People were nice but just too busy for new clients. Email questions were never responded too and any type of follow up from a phone call or email took 9 plus days. Heard great things about them so just disappointed in how they treat new clients, regardless of busy season or not. Ended up taking my taxes elsewhere after a month of constant waiting on them.
I was referred to Sue from my HS teacher when I inquired on FB. I trust him and took is recommendation. It's been about 7+ years. My Son & Daughter use MasterTax now. I'm very happy. I am the type that dróps my docs off and picks up when they are done, I've never set an in person appt. that is why I gave 4 stars vs 5. The pricing is fair and when I email I always get a promotion response, if I've left messages I get a call back as well. I would recommend MaterTax!
