The alternator failed on our pick-up and we were at least 4 hours away from home. We knew the battery wouldn't have enough power to get us home, thinking we would eventually end up broken down on the side of the road. We came to the intersection on Lindsay road and spotted the Master Mechanic garage and decided to go in to see if they could help us out. Nice and honest shop. It's never nice needing to go to the mechanic but Tony has always been very kind, accommodating and helps you work with your schedule. The team is super nice as well and I feel like they do a very honest job, and are quick as well! We were in Peterborough for a medical appointment. We were having problems with our vehicle and stopped at Master Mechanic. The staff were extremely helpful. They found the problem and fixed it. The bolts on the front tire were quite loose and we could have had a serious accident. We were on our way home in half an hour. They didn't charge us. WOW! Not many places would do this. We really appreciated it and highly recommend Master Mechanic!
Travelling in our Mazda truck we noticed a strange smell. We pulled over and found that we had a broken belt. Called CAA and they towed it to Master Mechanic on Lindsay Rd.Peterborough. My husband was sick so I asked Tony if he could please look at our vehicle as ASAP which he did. That was so great! The problem was solved by Justin the mechanic putting in a new belt. Another Master Mechanic to the rescue. I own a small fleet. Anytime a driver breaksdown, I am always happy to find a Master Mechanic nearby. They have never let me down and this time was no different. Tony knew our situation was time sensitive and automatically agreed to try and make a miracle out of an already busy day.
