Great place to eat and relax with friends – When you walk in the door you just feel that this place is going to be great. The banquet room gives you the exclusiveness you want for a party. The service is good and the food was hot. The shrimp brochette's melt in your mouth! Save room for the Italian Cream Cake or like us take it to go! Massa's is a great place to go before an Astro's game. Our kids (ages 5-8) love to ride the Trolley and eat ice cream at Massa's. Thanks guys.
Downtown Option – Massa's Seafood Grill was a delight. The portions of food were very generous, the waiter was great, and the prices were very reasonable. Thought parking was a problem, then found out that Massa's can validate parking in the garage that is attached to the restaurant, so it will be easy next time. There are a few hidden treasures on the wine list, look past the "names" and get to the little known part of the list that contains some pretty good values.

Disappointed – We Make reservation on 2/10/03 for Valentine's day 7:30 pm. We've called in to confirmed the reservation before we go, and they've lost our record. I was looking forward to dine at this place based on the rating, and now we have no where else to go, and all the nice resturants are all booked.
Best shrimp in Houston – Fantastic service, excellent atmosphere and a shrimp lover's dream. Salads and desserts are really good too!
Staring Shrimp – Massa's is a wonderful restaurant, great service, great food, great atmosphere. I only have one problem. I ordered a shrimp dish and when it came to me, it had the entire shrimp on the plate, head, tail, body, etc. It completely freaked me out. I just don't want to see the entire head of the food that I am eating. The waiter was very gracious and had the chef cut off the heads, but the damage was done. They did not charge me and were apologetic. It was handled in a very professional manner. I would have paid... read more
