Anyone that has to rope you into a auto renewing contract has only one reason. They suck. They can't keep good therapists. Also. No matter how far out you try the schedule. You can't get an appointment with anyone other than their reject therapists that will leave you hurting. There are a lot of local independent therapists that will give better service for the same price these days. Use a mom and pop. Avoid corporate stupid!
Yesterday while visiting the area a friend and I booked our very first massages. I opted for the hot stone and my friend a regular massage. I suffer from a chronic muscle disease and honestly the experience and relief I got almost made me cry right there on the table. We both enjoyed so much and each of us joined for 12 months.
My first time at a massage envy and it was great! The staff is very helpful and welcoming and my one hour massage was wonderful, really helped with my stress.
I made an appointment on Sunday for today at 9:30am and they had me down for the following Wednesday, the same thing happened the last time I booked as well. The people at the front desk have no idea what they are doing, the only pleasant person I have encountered is Ashley and she does the best she can to fix the mistakes. I am strongly thinking of cancelling my membership I could've really used that massage today and now have to wait another week, going to begin my search for a new place.
I had a good massage and will go back. The only thing I can say that was a negative was when I was finished they try and get you to sign up for a membership! The lady was very nice and I'm sure she was just doing her job, but everyone's financial situation is not the same and the only reason I went in there was because I had a gift card! I don't like feeling obligated to get a membership!
Charita is wonderful! I love to go visit her, however the front desk staff are a bit unprofessional when questions are asked. Prior to Charita being my masseuse I only received a good 40 minutes of massage. Start late and end very early.... Since visiting her that hasn't happen. Just wish that the first face you physically see and have to deal with was a bit more enthusiastic and just as excited to see me as Charita does!
