I've been a member there for over a year. Never missing my fabulous monthly facials. I've occasionally had massages. My estitician was the best and had great massage therapist too. However, for awhile I've heard complaints from several therapists about there negative treatment from management. They are not allowed to clock themselves in and out. Very professional and caring staff. Dori is amazing. She always knows exactly what I need and her neck stretches get rid of headaches.
I actually haven't been to this location...yet. The review is for my favorite therapist, Shawna, who recently moved to this location. Shawna is simply amazing. She is knowledgable in several technique and is very receptive to your feedback and feedback from your muscles\body. This combination allows her to make modifications on the fly and tailor her treatment to make your time with her more effective. Plus, she's fun to talk with!
The reception area was nice and the quiet room was relaxing. I went here a few times trying to find a good massage therapist. This one is closer to me than the one at the Tacoma mall so I wanted to start coming to this location. I went about 6 times with 6 different massage therapists and each one was not very pleasant. They were either too rough, too light, etc... They didn't seem to read the paper regarding what I was looking for. I also spoke up and let them know regarding pressure and it didn't change anything.
