Drove 45 minutes only to find out my appointment was never booked in the computer system and they had no availability. Spoke to manager who was unable to accommodate or willing to make things right from this wrong! Unfortunately I will not return or recommend, I will however make sure that all my family and friends and coworkers know exactly how I feel about this unfortunate experience at Massage Envy East Providence.
I was at Massage Envy today for a stretch session followed by a very relaxing massage. The staff if very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the stretch program. I stretch and then have my massage and it really makes a difference. Today my therapist use the percussion tool on my lower back, glutes and piriformis muscles, it really helped to release the muscles, so I could get the most out of my massage. After loving my first visit at Massage Envy spa of East Providence, i had to go back. Working construction and doing side work, it was without a doubt, i needed another session. The second time i was offered a different therapist from my first visit, which was totally ok by me. The front desk was very nice and accommodating. They helped me identify the level and areas of my body that needed attentjon the most. I was at the East Providence location yesterday ... The woman at the front desk was extremely nice .. I was happy to get an appointment, my body was hurtin, wich explains one of the reasons why I was getting a massage .. I have had alot of massages and this was one of the worst ones.. I was so disappointed.. no massage at all ! Just flat handed rubbed my body, no deep tissue (wich is what I asked for) . When you a membership that runs out but have banked massages, they shouldn't JUST MAGICALLY DISAPPEAR. I talk to the manager of massage envy today trying to figure out a way to use some of my banks and massages and she was one of the most rude, totally not trying to understand, thick headed individuals that have ever talked to.
