The hospital lost my Pap smear for my follow up one after having a hysterectomy. They tell me I have to have a repeat and that I wouldn’t be charged for this visit. Well they charged me again. I’m still going back and forth with the hospital three months later and still no solution. It’s not my fault they lost my Pap smear why should I have to pay twice? RecommendedSurgery was Monday, 12/2/19. It was easy peasy. 3 1/3 parathyroid buggers evicted. No pain medication other than Tylenol needed after waking up from anesthesia. Tylenol was only for arthritic pain prior to surgery - nothing needed for surgery itself. Best surgeon, best anesthesiologist, best nurses...thank you to everyone at Mass General Hospital!
Their nursing staff can be very belligerent and hostile and they yell at patients over a minor miscommunication which could jeopardize the patient's health. We are rethinking a 65,000 procedure because we do not feel safe with some of the nurses and their behavior.
I used to love this hospital, but today I’m experiencing one of the worst visit, my nice is delivering a baby and the nurse is very unfriendly, she’s not giving her space , her husband wasn’t allowed to stay with her during the epidural. When I came here in the middle of February to delivery my baby everything was different , staff were very polite. Today I saw it and I didn’t like it.
As a patient in their Veterans ICP, I was looking forward to what was claimed to be the best treatment for PTS. I was excited for this opportunity. When I arrived, I was met with hostility from the program nurse and was traumatized to the point that I was unable to benefit from the program. It was disappointing, to say the least and set my condition back immensely. MAss general have the best care, and all the nurses on 9 white are giving me the best attention, they are compassion, and always keep me informed of my plan of care!!
