No dog flea meds for small dogs, they use cat flea meds instead. My dog became extremely ill and died after application of cat flea meds, after this clinic examined him and determined him to be healthy enough for the meds. Cannot prove the flea meds were the cause, but I will never take my animal back to this vet. Small dog flea meds are available, and can be safer. Which is why I've switched to a vet that carries and uses the correct medicines for my pet.
I can't possibly say enough about Dr. Main and his attentive staff. They truly care about animals and it shows. They take such good care of my pets every time I take them in, and everyone treats them like they're a part of their own family. I can't thank them enough for everything they've done and continue to do for the furry members of my family.
I lost my first Basset Hound to congestive heart failure at only 8 years old. His Lansing area vet detected a heart murmur 3 years ago but did nothing about it. I often wonder if she had treated it maybe he still would be here. Now I have a new Basset puppy and found Dr. Main. I was very impressed and I will make the drive to Mason from now on.
