I have never eaten such a delicious vegetarian food before. Over 100 vegetarian items. Wow. I tried their Thursday dinner buffet and it was great. Service was really good. Shaam (not sure right spelling) was took care of us. Highly highly recommended place.
Hidden Treasure.. Great Indian food, great service – This by far is one of the best Indian restaurant in my opinion. Great family restaurant. I pulled up list of items to order from the list provided by my friend when i went there and could not thank him enough that he recommended this place. we ordered Pondicherry Masala Dosa, Veg Utapam ( i think thats how it is spelled), Palak Paneer and Kids Idly dosa combo. Best Indian restaurant in Denver - Hands down !! – I loved the different flavor. My boy friend and i went on a Thursday evening and this place was packed. After having their Thursday evening buffet, now I know why this place is so popular. I love meat but once you eat here, you dont really miss meat in your meal. Restaurant is entirely vegetarian. Had no idea vegetarian food could be so good. Definitely going again and again. !!
Love It. Most Authentic South Indian Food – I have lived and worked in in India (Chennai and Banglore) for over 2 years. Masalaa provides most authentic south indian food. I love their Dosas. A must visit restaurant in the country. If you live here in Denver and have not visited Masalaa, you dont know what you are missing. If you are visiting Denver and you like Indian food, you HAVE TO try Masalaa.
Simly Awesome – All i could say after coming out of this restaurant was "simply awesome". Couldnt imagine how such a small joint tucked in a small strip mall in Aurora can provide such awesome food and excellent service. I am so glad i listened to my friend's recommendation to try this restaurant. I loved this place. service was definitely worth mentioning. Folks were going extra mile to ensure customers were taken care of. In Summary, Masalaa is simply AWESOME !!
Masalaa Closed – Hi I went to masalaa today, it has a sign posted saying they are closed for maintenance. Does anybody know when they will re-open??
Beware of Double Tip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – I went to this restaurant few times and they hand over a bill with no details and unfilled tip column.Of course i entered about 10% for the tip and signed the bill and was about to leave the place but i was a bit surprised of the bill amount. Finally i asked for a details bill and was surprised that they already charged me 15% hidden tip and i was paying 10% additional all this time.. Bottom line, Ask for a detailed bill before you sign the bill next time.. Greedy people!!
Great food, horrid service. – We visited Masalaa about a month ago with our kids. First off, the food was delicious, but not very filling. We felt that for the price, we should have been given more. The kids menus are a joke, they're about as much as a not very hungry 3 or 4 year old would eat. If your child is older than that, do yourself a favor and just order the adult portion which doesn't cost that much more. Used to be great, not so much anymore – In Denver we have a huge selection of North Indian cuisine, but for years we have not had much selection for good south Indian cuisine. North Indian usually consists of the spicy curries that we are all familiar with and those lovely Tandoori items like Nan and Chicken Ticca, but South Indian cuisine usually consists of dosas, which are large rolls of rice flour and are stuffed with a variety of vegetables and/ or meats.
