RecommendedWe are from NJ and we were ending our vacation in the Smoky Mountains on Saturday and our daughter wasn’t feeling well. Instead of driving home, we decided to get her checked out at the ER bc we were worried it may be her appendix. Sure enough, she had an emergency appendectomy on Saturday afternoon. She received excellent care from the ER, to surgery, to recovery. Please pass along my family’s thanks to everyone who was working Saturday in the ER, Radiology and Surgery! We are home now and our daughter is recovering well.

Exceptionally rude staff. They like to pick and choose which safety laws to follow pertaining to covid. Two parents can’t be in the same room even with masks on and maintaining social distance? Fine. But if you’re going to escort the father of someone’s child out due to safety reasons, make sure you do the same to the people in the lobby who wear their masks as chin straps mouth breathing on everyone.
RecommendedAmazing group of people. Our son is terrified of doctors and needles but he said all the nurses and doctors there were so nice and sweet to him that he wasn't even afraid. Thank you for going above and beyond!

My current experience with etch has been the worst experience my family has had (and we visit them quite often due to having a medically complex child). They act like they are concerned about your child’s care but they make things harder for the family. Since I’ve been at etch (4 days) I’ve been called a liar, they took my baby’s blood at the wrong time and had to redraw, I woke up to 5 nurses in my room just to change the bed, I’ve been lied to about several things, they take 30 minutes to cath her, and they don’t know how ... read more

RecommendedI've got a little shout out 5 years ago yesterday Blaine my son was stung when were in Tennessee for my brother's wedding. Well it went south real quick and he ended up in LeConte Medical Center then the situation was getting worse so they sent him by ambulance to East Tennessee Children's Hospital for 5 day's. They took wonderful care of my son! So a huge thank you to them 5 years later. Y'all are a fantastic group of people.

They schedule other patients during your appointment time and don’t inform you. Showed up for my appointment that was scheduled 6 months ago and was told they put someone else in my spot and that I would have to reschedule. NEVER going back and will let everyone I know never to go here. Drove all the way from Dandridge to Knoxville for this appointment. Ridiculous!!!
